My buddy just ordered an AFE Stage 2 intake for me and I went to install it this weekend but when i looked at the directions, it said it was for a 2004.5- LLY. I told my buddy and he called the company back (not AFE) and told them they sent the wrong one. The company said that this intake would fit in my truck. The instructions said it would only work as a stage 1. Im sure AFE's directions arent BS. Will this system fit in my truck as a stage 2? I think not, but the company insists that it will.

Ok this is why it doesnt make sense:
This is the release from AFE's website http://www.afefilters.com/images/40-12033.pdf It specifically says on there that it will fit the LB7 as a stage 1 only. I mean i paid for a stage 2, i should get a stage 2. I was just wondering if there was something that I was missing. Maybe it still fits.

According to AFE's website, as much as I can tell, that is the intake system for an LLY. But these guys at this place continue to tell me otherwise.

It is pretty hard to argue with the people who make the stuff. If it fit both trucks why would they have different numbers for each one? The place you got it from is hosing you.:mad:

Yeah I figured. I got a part number for what I thought to be the correct intake and asked them to search it. They looked it up and after that they finally believed me. Well the intake is on its way. Last time I buy from these guys!
