Does anyone know what the the stock valve adjustments need to be on a DM LLY? Habe looked everywhere, and simply can't find what I am looking for. Hope someone here can help.

GM service manual gives 0.3mm or 0.012" for valve lash on the LLY.

Nice procedure, was lokking for this exact thing. 300KM and the valves are making noises. Thanks,

Thanks for sure... Just did the head gaskets on my 2004.5 Dmax and found something else kinda interesting... Just noticed the left bank is the even number cylinders on these motors but on the gas motors its just the opposite...? Wonder why...?

Anyone...?

Why do we have to remove the fan clutch?

why do you need to adjust them ?

Makes the truck run better (ie better mpg, more HP, because the valves are staying open), not as noisy and because you can:D

Why do we have to remove the fan clutch?

you need to remove the fan so you can get to the crank nut to turn the engine over with a breaker bar

Why do we have to remove the fan clutch?

Easier to see the markings on the block and the balancer maybe???
