I put a 6.2 from a 91 with a mechanical injector pump into a 95 that had a 6.5 with an electronic injecto pump. What do I have to do to make the tranny and the converter act right. The tranny is a 4l80E

you need a stand alone controller for the tranny. IIRC it was only used 1 or 2 years, 91 or 92. someone else will chime in with specifics.

so what if i put the electronic pump on the 6.2. that would take care of the tranny right?

that would work, but you will need whatever sensors the computer needs installed on the engine
