I got my truck in Feb. 05 and a week after I got it I disconnected the EGR plug on it. Well this weekend I installed an Edge EZ program on it and thought I would have the son who works for Auto Zone check it for any trbl codes, guess what, no codes stored in it. my question is shouldn't I have codes stored in it from the EGR being disconnected, or would the Edge program have caused them to disappear? "I don't know,Third Base!!!
I'm not complaining, just wondering, by the way, the Edge feels real good, pulls like hell and it's the only mod so far,haven't gotten to the gauges,intake and exhaust yet, but will in the future.

most have reported no codes being set when disconnecting, usually the codes come in when you pull the cat

I got codes when I disconnected mine (cat or no cat didn't matter) but I have CA emissions.

I think it depends on the code reader you use.. My actron shows now codes. My predator shows codes.

I think that is the case here, We used the Actron and I thought about that at the time, so you're probably right on that.
