My truck has been in the the shop now for a week and I'm refusing to pick it up! It's been in there for a week now and it all started with a hazey smoke and lack of power and hard start so I figured it was the injectors for the 3rd time took it in as normal thinking that it would be covered and they profiled the shit out of me when I first got there due to my trucks apperence and asked if I had a chip now being thAt I flashed my truck two days prior I said no and they inspected the crap out of it asking about every switch button tab they could find and then I called them 3 freaken days later due to not hearing a word back from thEm and they had the nerve to tell me my truck was out of warranty due to the lift tires and guages. I know they found no chip and that drove them crazy so I've been on the phone w/ gm direct for some days now because I'm not wanting to pay 200 buck for them to put a scanner on my truck and say toobad its modified! It's been an ugly battle but we shall see what happens

well,I know the injectors are trash, but gm is really coming down on the dealers about power adders...so with the mods in your sig, this truck is your baby.(not saying I agree totally, but thats how it is).

They should not charge you for doing nothing though.

Sucks man. They should fix the injector issues permanently and its very frustrating that they have not done so, would make a lot of LB7 owners happy thats for sure.
Valley CA? Where's that? Is that the fresno area?
Just keep to what YOU want and keep up the work.

Modesto area) now my next question is if I go after market injectors will they fail like stock ones too because they are also in the motor? Or are they more reliable?

Right now I have no power adders not even a intake truck is fully stock all I have that they are not liking is lift and guages

Lift and gauges are not able to void a warrenty. The gauges protect the turbo from overheating and dealers lift trucks everyday and honor the warrenty. Tell them to pound sand, get your truck out of there and take it to another dealer that is willing to fix it without all the hassle.

you think they would be happy for the work with the economy the way it is. obviously warranty work doesnt pay as well as customer pay but at least its better than nothing. when getting ready to warranty injectors the service writer fills out a checklist that asks if there is an aftermarket turbo, or power adders. if you dont and they cant prove that you have, there is NO other reason they have for not replacing them under warranty.

X2

I would not want them to work on my truck anyway, it appears they do not want to do the work already, so I would not try to force them to do it, they will just half ass it and you will not be happy at all.

Take it to another dealer........

amen on that tolliwacker.

sucks these days you can't find a good mechanic, you truly need to be your own as much as it sucks sometimes.
