How many of you running these guages have had problems?

I had them in my Superduty and now my Duramax. No problems.

Could those of you that posted no, state in the post what exactly the problem was that you experienced? Thanks.

The only trouble I've had with the gauge is the backlight.
I have 2 gauges and both backlights started to fail within a year.:(

Their current design is too fragile. It uses 32 surface mount LED's (16 red & 16 green) mounted in a lightbox behind the LCD. The superfine wire they used to connect the LED to the simple PCB tends to break easily, even though it's encased in a layer of silicone.

I have sent 2 guages back with bad backlight's and now the 3rd one in my truck is burned out too Censored

I had to send 1 EGT electric sending unit back because it went bad. Censored

And my Boost guage will read 85 or 90 lbs once in a while. Censored



I have my Nexus guages installed and as soon as they come out with a Boost guage the Spa is history. Censored


Nice features on the Spa guage and customer service was alright, but quite honestly it's not worth the hassle's of having to replace guages every 6 months.

Yep, backlighting. Center still works, outer edges don't. Don't plan on fixing it, actually like it better the way it is.
Yes, I would buy this same gauge again.

Backlight on 2 seperate gauges both purchased at the same time.

If you buy a used gauge, would they still replace a bad gauge for you?

The only trouble I have had with mine was the backlighting also,they replaced it and its been fine for now.
