I went under desired Idle and set the ratings for this.
How did you set up your high idle mine is like this
Celcius RPMS
-40 1500.000000
-28 1600.000000
-16 1750.000000
-4 2000.000000
8 1800.000000
20 1700.000000
32 1400.000000
44 1200.000000
56 1000.000000
68 680.000000
80 680.000000
Couldn't this be bad though if I want to go to drive when the coolant is still cold? So i would be shifting into drive with the RPMS at like 1500+ rpms. That could be bad I would think. Or does it stop when it goes into gear?

Why are you changing the idle table to obtain high idle? Have you tried doing the high idle switch mod that gives you high idle through the cruise control switch?

I have spent ALOT of time playing with this and I found out a way to make the high idle work alot like the LLY trucks. You install the high idle switch and can change the way it fuels to make the idle ramp up slowly (very good feature in cold weather). With a Tech 2 scanner you can make your high idle work without you even having to be in the truck, which is nice if its really cold and you dont want to wait for your vehicle to warm up before you hit the cruise to ramp up the idle speed.
If you would like more information on how to do that let me know...

I thought that would be an easy way to make a high idle.

Well it will make it idle faster, but it will try and maintain that speed in gear as well. Do a search in the LB7 section for high idle or fast idle and find how to do it with one wire hooked into your brake switch and the cruise switch.

Ya I found the kennedy site instructions its more work than I expected I thought there would be a harness you plug and play.

It's just one wire to hook into the ECM plug and then run it inside and hook it up to the brake switch on the side that powers the gear shift lockout solonoid and your done. This will engage it whenever you're in park and always turns it off in gear.

If you get a DSP 2 or 5 switch, you can make one setting be your high idle. Turn the switch for high idle, turn it again to go to other tunes.
Post number 7 in this link tells how to do it. Just change the throttle base injection quantity table for that position only.

Sorry I did that first post quickly at school.

I did what he said on my LB7 and worked fine for me. I put in 20 for cells 600 -1200 at 0% throttle.
