12V production stopped in 98.5
Get either a 12V or a common Rail 24 for the most potential.
P7100 pumps on the 5 speeds... very desireable. in 97-98

I'm kind of partial to the 24V. Put a Fass system on it and it is a strong motor!

If it is an 03 and up it is a common rail motor.
98.5-2002 VP-44 pumped (interestingly a S.O pump on a HO motor makes more power when you pierce the wire with a COMP or a Blue chip Box)
1994-1998.5 P series pumps. anywhere from a 160 to 210 pump IIRC check the CPL numbers.
Previous to those years the 1st gen's have a ??? Pump that is hard to make over 450 HP from.

What are you looking to do with it? Drag race Sled pulling just to tow a trailer, if so how big? I have a 2000 2500 24v. I love it. You can get a lot of power out of it.

I don't think that's bad at all. I've got 100k on mine and have had a TST Power Max 3 on it since it was new still screams!

I've been very happy with TST products. They make the power they say they will and at a reasonable price. Go to TSTproducts.com. They have excellent customer service.
