: Volant 4" exhaust?

I was looking on ebay for some exhaust systems and I seen that I can get a Volant 4" cat-back exhaust with 304 Stainless steel for $569 with a 5" tip and free shipping from a dealer in my area. This seemed like a good price to me and I was thinking of getting this since I already have the catless downpipe on my LLY. I was wondering if anyone has used Volant exhaust systems? How does it compare to others like MBRP and Magnaflow? Any drone? Any Diesel place vendors care to match this with a comparable 304 stainless cat back system?

Well I went ahead and ordered it, should be here in a few weeks. The dealer is going to bring it straight to my house when he gets it in.

Let us know how it goes. BTW, I use their AirIntake System. Good system and I also add a homemade force air pipe that is attached to the hole on the bottom of the Volant box. See below:

I got the exhaust installed today and everything worked out well. All the hangers fit right, and the 5" tip is already welded on. You can see Volant writen on the muffler through the wheel well which looks pretty cool. The truck sounds BAD ASS, it sounds quiter at idle and cruising but when you get on it you can't even tell its a diesel, sounds just like a big block gasser roaring.

Nice to hear you like it. Sounds like you got yourself a nice exhaust system.

Enjoy the new sound and other stuff that comes with a BIGGER exhaust.
