I have purchased an upgraded trans internal kit. (The works: TC, C1, C2, etc. up to 750 HP) How much money am I looking at to have the trans taken out and new internals installed? What time frame should I expect? Also, would you suggest installed a larger trans pan?

I have a PPE hot LB7 and hot juice but no trans to hold it:D The juice sits on the shelf and ppe is on #2. I am itching.......

Thanks,
Mike

1400 ish would be in the approx area.

What upgrades do you have? Just curious as you say up to 750 HP. Larger trans pan will do nothing more then give you something to add to your sig line.

If you are thinking deep pan you should be thinking about a Mike L. Tranny cooler IMHO. It works great. I see a drop in temps (about 10deg on average) over my stock tranny. A built tranny will most likely run hotter temps over a stock tranny due to increased line pressures.

The upgrade is the PPE stage IV trans package. It actually states 1000HP, thought it was 750HP for some reason.

Thanks for the feedback

Expensive they are. But worth it every time you mash the go pedal and all those horses and foot pounds of torque are applied to the rear wheels. Nick

I don't know why tranny builders aways use horsepower as the breaking piont, when torque is really what kills them. 1,000 hp in the 8100 big block will have much lower torque then the Duramax will have at 1,000 hp.
