I have had my PPE stage IV for about 2 months it worked fine. I made 6 passes at the drag strip without a single problem. I changed the fluided and reset the taps and drove it easy for 400 miles. I put my race tune on and let the tranny learn it, and back went to the drag strip and now between 2-3 and 3-4 it reves up and hesitates in between shifts. Any ideas..??

Check your fluid level. Id try resetting the taps again and see what it does.

Why did you relearn after changing the fluid?

Fluid level is at he top of the full mark.
Why did you relearn after changing the fluid?
Because it didn't shift right after I changed it. The Tranny is smooth and shifts fine stock.

Trans learning is best done after resetting taps when you start out easy driving around town in stop and go traffic. When the shifts smooth out drive a little more aggressively and work your way up the aggressive scale letting the shifts smooth out before moving up. When you go to the track it might take a few passes for the trans to work out the learning curve. Also the above steps need to be done in both non T/H and in T/H since they each one has it's own learning curve.

Who built your trans? Also, the Allison needs to be below the full mark when hot.

A local guy that truck pulls with us. He works at a GM dealership so I thought he would know his stuff because he does all his own work and he works on o lot of other trucks as well at RAW DIESEL, if you have heard of that?

Yeah I do have a stage V I just forgot to go back and change it. I got the kit form RAW DIESEL and had a local guy install it for me. When I changed the fluid I put too much in it. Drained some out and it works good now.
