Lubrication Specialist has a great kit for our trucks. It is much better then stock (reliability wise) and it is what I have on my truck.

Link for the kit: http://lubricationspecialist.com/front/shop.aspx?catid=10&parentid=0&productid=46

Lol, how nice of you! You may also want to think of getting o-rings for the 4x4 oil filter adapter. My big o-ring was bad so I spent a day searching for one that would work...

If you have any doubt about the filter adapter, better change it while you are under there.

Now on that oil filter adapter/housing for the 6.5 4WD engine when you remove that big mounting nut in the center are you dealing with just having to replace one o-ring or is there more than one? I guess if I don't know when the last time it was done I had better do it especially if my buddy and I decide to upgrade to the Lube Specialist's oil cooler/lines kit on his Suburban(which I think we will). Definitely looks like the "first and last" oil cooler setup you'd ever have to put on a 6.5 powered truck.

Be very careful when tightening the fittings into the cooler[guess how i know]. It is a one shot deal to get them aimed the right direction. I covered the braided stainless lines so they wouldn't saw threw anything.
The stealer was the only place local that could get the o-rings for the filter adapter. I got shafted for $5 each for 3 o-rings. There are at least 3 different styles of oil filter adapters. Get the number before going for parts.
