I have a 02 and a code for TCM malfunction keeps coming on. I have cleared it but it comes back on as soon as I start the truck. Is this a major problem or a easy fix.

I ran it hard all weekend and started home monday and drove about 150 miles no problem. Then the code came on. I reset it a few times to get home about 100 miles later. When I got home it wouldn't go into reverse and it would take a second to go into drive. It is a stock tranny besides a bully dog shift kit. I just tried it a minute ago and it works just fine besides the code still being on. lakingslayer 05-31-2005, 08:14 PM P0700 just says you have a TCM code set. You need to get access to a code reader that reads the TCM. What year is your truck. You may want to do a signature so the information is readily available for people when trying to troubleshoot problems.
