Software comes with OBDII cable to serial port for a computer.
You don't get much info for just the program and should pick up the enhanced software for GM & Ford (thats the combo it comes in).

Software & Cable = $229.95 USD
Enhanced Software = $229.95 USD Total = $459.90

I paid $600.00 Canadian which was very fair and comparable off the shelf from Westers.

They also carry versions for your hand held devices also, same pricing i think.

It's much better than the EASE diagnostic I have which costs $400 for the GM OBDI enhanced. Do you have an interface in the cable(a box that plugs in to 12v)? or iirc that's just OBDI and OBDII has 12v in the ALDL.

Nope, just the cable from the computer to the OBDII port, powered by the laptop/port itself.

I have more screens to choose from, i only posted 4 of em out of 7 if you notice the tabs at the tops of the screens

Thanks CR for the new thread, That looks like a great program you found there. Do you know if it supports OBD1?

No support for OBDI as of yet, not sure if they're working on one or not either yet. I'm thinking about becomming a distibutor if they'll have me.... lol

CR, keep us posted with the OBD1 info!

QM, what all does the EASE support on OBDI?

Pump timing measured and desired but no TDC offset or timeset mode. It gives a readout on almost all sensors but not CTS for some reason. It has DTC for soft and hard codes and a reference, a record mode for making files and a couple different display modes.

Canadian Rigger,

If you can get them to make an OBD I version, I can have it arrainged that Celine Dion is kidnapped and left for dead in a Peruvian jungle. :D

Has anyone tried the Car Code OBD-II On Board Diagnostics, available at http://www.obd-2.com/? It looks good, price is right, but on the list of available enhanced items for GM, I don't see TDC offset, but IP desired and signal (actual?) timing is there, but not sure if it is for the 6.5 or DMax. I am thinking about trying it out.

I have the CAR CODE, Price is good, updates are free,
( waiting on cylinder balance test update ).

Offset is not there, I have not had a need for it.

Downside, No Documentation...
