I have a front winter cover that came with the truck when I bought it. is it ok to leave on the entire winter to help with the radiator? anyone have issues with paint after being on for 3 straight months?

just want to make sure it won't hurt anything leaving it on all winter since we still use tons of salt.

I would plan on removing the cover(s) on days around 40* F or so, or if you're towing the tranny may get hot with the lower/bumper portion on...at least mine does. The cover(s) do work, that's a good thing to a point...they will make for too high temps on the warmer days.

I had one on my 90 Chevy and if left on to long will eventually fade your paint at least it did on mine

Mine only rests on chrome and has not affected anything. I do remove if it gets over 50* on a given day. But mine is parked most of the month due to having a company truck.

The truck will run a little better with heat in the engine.
