My friend plug in his snapon scan tool at idle. He started going through all the injector info and said 2 & 7 were off from the others. 2&7 was 4.8ms and the others were at 5.3ms at idle. What does all this mean?

Not sure if the snap On reads like a GM Tech II but check this post on values. They need to be closest to +-0. I see if you can get a GM Tech II and compare the data from the two.

It wasn't balance rates? He thinks it is the pulse width. I got the same numbers on my ppe.

So, What does the difference in the numbers mean?

No idea. Only use to Gm tech II and EFIlive Flashscan reading the same thing.

I went back to the shop and used the scan tool myself. It does read the balance rates.

1: 0.5
2: -0.9
3: 0.6
4: 0.5
5: -0.5
6: 0.3
7: -0.9
8: 0.7

I have some running at +/- 2-4 at idle and others @ +/- 5-6 at gear.
