Well Saturday nite I was finally able to get it put on ( it's been in the shop since February).

Got stock pipes out w/o cutting.

Sounds good now :ro)

Running predator on 40hp and juice level 1 I'm still running 1380* w/ 14,500# behind it.

I didn't get to see what temps I was running when I had the trailer on and pull started dad's loaded 52,000# dump truck :grd: but I got the pic on the camera at home.

Dmax Tim - I see your rear quarter panel is showing the evidence of a smoke maker. I had to cut a few inches off my tailpipe and then put on a 5" chrome turndown on. It looks good (although not the look I wanted but practicallity prevailed over looks.) Now I have no problem keeping the rear quarter clean.

Now level 5-5 juice w/ 40 hp predator puts out a little more smoke ):h

how was the install, did everything line up and slide into place? i plan on going with the 5"er, and summit is the way. does it come with a muffler and/or cat?

It comes with a muffler, no kitty though.

Only complaint is the 2nd pipe could have been 4" longer then the radius would have matched the tranny brace better.

The juice w/ low fuel boost on 5 gives some puffs in low levels and bump it up to 4 or 5 and get ready for an eclipse.
I've only run the pradator on 40hp tune since I tow tooo much weight and don't want to mess around reloading.
Predator on 40hp and juice level 2 gives a good puff and some haze.

What is the part# for the 5" exhaust for an LB7?? Is is 5" all the way from the downpipe back??

When u get a big 'hairdryer' they come w/ a larger down pipe.

So u get to pull the tranny to put it on.

When i put exhaust on my truck, (its stock LLY, going to turbo back) is it going to make alot of smoke? or leave a nice smoke spot on my 1/4 panel like that?

My truck actually smoked less with the 5" installed. I have a dually and after one week the 1/4 panel was BLACK. I cut off several inches and put a chrome 18" turn down on it. No more black 1/4 panel. If you don't have your truck chipped or programmed you probably won't have a black 1/4 panel problem.

IIRC, the ATS 5000 turbo comes with a 4" downpipe, so with the 5" exhaust, you've still got the narrowest point there. The 5-incher sure looks cool, though. :ro)
