how many miles on the truck? Some people have had instrument cluster failure and it was covered under warranty.

Never had the whole panel go out but my F'n speedo is showing the wrong mph about 95% of the time. Sits at 50,40,30,20 and sometimes 10 at a dead stop or when its parked and off. It even stayed at the 10 mph mark when I was either stopped or driving 75 mph.

Gotta take it in but dont want the downtime at the dealer.

I and others have had that problem, mines a 03 too.

The long and short is either you have a bad cluster, some have had them replaced, or you have a loose power or ground wire somewhere and at start up the cluster is not seeing the voltage it needs to "wake up" and just stays dormant till you start again.

Mine turned out to be a loose battery cable's at the starter.

Good Luck.
