Does anybody have any input on a P101 code?

first off do you have any mods? knowing what mods you have helps diagnose the problem or what to try to resolve it.

Any question asked should include info on truck configuration you have from year, cab, engine version, transmission version, as well as any mods you have applied. It help answer this question way better. Go with a dry air filter. The oil from the filter can kill the MAF over time.

Now the best guess you have an aftermarket cold air intake and it uses a oiled type air filter like K&N. If that is the case get rid of the that filter.

Next best guess is the after market cold air intake has the MAF in a location that screws it up. Some fixes are relocating the MAF in the intake to get it either in more air flow or less turbenlent air flow. Knowing the CAI you have may lead to a fix if there is one.

Another thought is the weather you are in now. If like cold and blowing snow then maybe the air filter has iced over with snow.
