So, this weekend, in preparation for a long trip, I went through and replaced all my daytime running lights, blinker lights, side marker lights on my 02 2500hd. I also performed the all-on headlight mod described on this forum (which BTW is AWESOME!). Everything works, yet I noticed one issue this morning. The left turn signal blinks at normal speed (as before), but the right turn signal blinks at double time. Did the all-on mod do something? Is a bulb partially in and causing it? Was it just coincidence that it happened the day after I replaced lights and the flasher is going out?
I am planning to probe more this evening, possibly disconnecting the grounded headlight tap and see if that resolves the issue. I am envious of you guys who can look at schematics and a rats nest of wires and figure out what is going on. 12v automotive electrical issues are like kryptonite to me. Thanks in advance.

Are both front and back flashing double speed? I'm willing to guess either front or back is not seated proper. The only time they flash fast is when one is burnt out.

my coworker looked front and back, going the same speed. I'll pull it out and see if it's seated right.

Not to hijack the thread, but did you do the fogs with the all on headlight mod? If so how did you do it?

np, I have no fogs. bought mine late 02, when the 03's came out. bought what the dealer had left on the lot. electrical convienence package was not included. good thing. 3 months later, creamed a great dane and destroyed the bumper etc. and put a full replacement on in its place. would have lost fogs anyway.

got it fixed. the passenger signal light was not completely inserted into the socket. it is now and it works.

Right here, post 25 has the picture. I used diodes from radio shack, 3amp, 200PIV they said on package, I don’t know what the PIV is but they been working for a while. I just soldered a short piece of wire to each end of the diode, wraped the terminal on the relay and pushed the relay back in.
