Would never get one myself, but looks pretty good IMHO

I like it but come on “We think this is a more realistic design that better suits a wider variety of tasks that trucks are used for." Ya we want to pay outrageous prices for F^ing carbon fiber hood and body panels. Looks like a piss poor attempt to see if they can get something on Fords Raptor.

Looking like a Ford but maybe because of the extended cab. Windows look short like Fords did a few years back but be an optical illusion.

I'm not a big fan of the colors but I think the rims and front end are a nice tough look

Wont come to production, ill bet money on it.....

Pricing would be outrageous especially if its using the LSA Supercharged engine from the CTS-V.

Your looking at a $60,000.00 half ton. Have fun with that.

This truck should have been an "SS" that was 2WD/AWD and lower to the ground.... I think it would be a clean street truck especially with the exhaust.... but lifted? It looks "too nice" to be an offroad truck...

i think its cleaned up nice the doors the box the fenders and the bumpers but its a little to unrealistic and impractical

Exactly, The market somthing like this really isnt there.

Even as a SS or "sport truck" though I feel the pricing on this would rival or be worse then the SRT10 Rams were by a long shot.

I tell you what they should do, put that LSA engine in a colorado... Now that is a 2wd truck I would buy! :D

I really like that color. It would look good if the whole truck were that color and got rid of the carbon fiber. It has a nice stance too. I also like how they put the Z sticker on the door.

Carbon fiber front and rear do nothing for me.
It is the same chevy hood with the GHEAYYY fake raised, plastic scoops.

Notice they have rear fender well covers unlike the production versions that are rolling out to save a nickel and hope our beds rust faster so we have to buy another.

I dont see any purpose in trying to market a production "off road" truck.
Those that have that kind of coin are still going to want a more unique look. They are going to tear off the rims and tires to put on what they like anyway. A scoop hood in variety of styles will add less than 2g's. If you want a serious off road look / ability, other parts are still going to have to be upgraded.

WASTE! spend more time on the things that matter to all, like quality interior construction that does not rattle and feel like snap together legos. Quality basic engine and drive line components that will yeild longer life and need less repair / upgrade.

Its ok to dream and inspire but mass manufacturers are better off focusing on a mass appeal product.

Put a Diesel engine in it, some tow mirrors, and some Marker lights... I would get one.... I like the Rims on it though...

They'd be good additions for sure.

The Dodge Power Wagon is a quality piece of kit. Fantastic off-road suspension and the ability to haul a decent amount of weight unlike this 1500 concept. With a Cummins and 33s instead of 32s the Power Wagon would be a great proposition.

The power wagon wasnt offered with a cummins for a reason. 4.56 gears with front and rear lockers + the torque of a diesel = warranty claims out the ass for broken drivetrain parts.

Is that for certain? I thought it was because they couldn't get it to fit/breathe due to the Warn winch and intrusion. I know there is an aftermarket company who will convert it to a Cummins for a fairly affordable price. I'd have them fit 4.30s while they were at it.

Fairly happy with "off-road" abilities of my truck. For true rock crawling I'd want something that wouldn't high-center like a SWB Defender or a Wrangler on 35s.

I would be very surprised if Chevy produced anything remotely resembling this thing. With the government calling the shots, you will most likely see GM downplaying the whole truck line in favor of pushing "cars american's want to buy" (i.e. cars that Washington D.C. want us to drive). Remember, trucks are bad, they cause global warming and must be stopped! We all must get in line and drive Chevy Volts or Priuses, all for the greater good! Hope and Change.

I'd settle for GM putting actual truck size tires on the trucks from the factory, instead of 245's. The Ford F250's 20 inch rim and tire combo make it look good and the tires don't look like low profile tires.

The winch sits completely between the frame and behind the bumper, it would not interfere with the cummins setup at all. Its a warranty liability issue. I had a powerwagon winch mount and front bumper on my old dodge so I know for a fact it fit with no issues.

I think it looks great - perform; time will tell if it's ever produced - should be one color though.

im willing to bet that the truck with color in regular paint with no farbon ciber. Remeber this is SEMA and you can't show up with just a regular lifted truck, one has to show up with a "custom look".

I agree one color and a 4.5L dmax would be a much better thing. Perhaps a twin turbo 4.5?
