Man do I love that Duramax/Allison combination.:)
Just returned from the beach for the weekend. Averaged 10.5MPG on the DIC. That was pulling my fifth wheel. Ran the combination over the scales on the way home. Truck was 10,300, trailer was 9970. Going down the hills the Allison worked perfectly downshifting to keep my speed in line. Going up the hills I had to constantly keep an eye on the speedo as it wanted to keep crawling above 55.

Your truck weighed 10.3k? :eek: Or was the trailer still hooked-up? :confused:

I think thats with tongue weight? With love affairs my truck is taking the place of the greatest thing that ever happened to me:rant:. To bad I FCensored it up.

Yea, 10,3. That was with me, the wife and dog. Plus some fire wood and the trailer hooked up!
