Hey guys, im thinking about getting one. Can you read codes with this? Is everyone that has one happy with? I would like to get an edge but just cant pull the trigger on that much money for what i want out of it. All i want is a mile or two better mpg and a little more balls when i move my tractor around. My truck is stock other than an k&n, and im planning on cutting the muffler off. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks, justin.

The predator is a great programmer especially for the money and yes you can check codes with it. A friend of mine has an edge and to be honest I dont like his near as much as my predator. Should be perfect for what you need it to do.

I love mine. I can honestly say I can now hang with my dad's stock LBZ (although it isn't stock anymore). But I have used it to read and clear codes many times, and I'm getting 17.6mpg with a 6" lift and 35's. I'd say it is well worth every penny.
I would suggest at least a 4" exhaust though. Just to keep from melting anything. It doesn't need to be loud. I know my straight piped 4" is not as loud as when I had the stock exhaust straight piped. But it sounds so much better

Thanks. I will have to look into the exhaust.
