sorry new to the forum, but I was wondering exactly what does spooling up boost mean and how do you do it.

Start off with left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas. Press hard with both feet The load created on the motor from full throtle and the brake holding vehicle back will cause the turbo to spool and create boost for a launch.....More boost=more power! If you do this in 2wd your back tires will start spinning, but it is fun!!

Technically you are just adding a bunch of fuel to the motor to create more exhaust which is used to spin your turbo. This creates the added boost psi in the intake manifold for the extra power. If you do not do a boost launch when racing you will feel "Turbo Lag." Your turbo does not have enough exhaust to spin it and create boost before a launch while the truck is at idle. If you go from idle to full throttle, you will have to wait until the exhaust gas can spin the turbo fast enough to create boost and this wait period is called "Turbo Lag." Spooling means spinning the turbo to make boost.

Thanks, would it be better to run in 4wd. Also what would TH mode do for me.

Run in 4WD for best ET's. Might wanna invest in some Tie Rod sleeves for your tie rods. T/H vs. Normal is subject to debate. Some trans/tuner combos will do better in T/H and others don't. Do 3 passes each way, and average the best two passes to find what is the best for your setup.
