rick 12-30-2003, 04:38 AM have a 2003 2500hd tech 4 and powershot 2000 installed by ppe and when I get on the pedel and go to shift to the next gear my clutch pedel will not engage or will stay on the floor have had it in the shop 5 times they already changed the flywheel on it any help out there Deadeye 02-19-2004, 05:43 PM Keep going. I am sure that the powershot just applies more torque than the clutch can handle. May be it is toasting the clutch. It seems mine gets hard and does not release for a while (cooling)? Once we hear from CPMac, who ordered a new flexplate to inspect, and he get's his solid flywheel designed, we can put a stronger aftermarket clutch on. Then the power should hold much better.
