Good morning all. I'm looking at cutting out the "snow plow prep" hole. What do you recommend for the duty? It seems as my drill is too big (never had that problem before - that's the reason I'm asking  ) to get a perpendicular angle between drill and firewall.

So, I'm thinking some sort of rotary tool - maybe a dremel with a saw bit.

Any ideas?

BTW: Happy Memorial Day

I just used a reg. drill and a step bit.

I used a cordless drill and a 1.25" hole saw, there's plenty of room down there, do it from the inside. there is a dimple somewhere down there, maybe it is on the outside, I've done two tahoes and two hd2500's I can't remember exactly but you go through two layers of sheet metal. It's not too bad.
