does anyone have any experience with superchips part number 2705 for 01-04 duramax? is it any good? does it do what they claim? i have a line on a used one for a good price just looking for some info.

It is a good option if you don’t want to spend a lot of $$$.$$. They work fine. The only gripe is that you have to go through a reload every time you want to change power levels, which is the same for all tuners. If you want to run the high HP setting make sure you have a pyrometer gauge to keep track of your exhaust temps since it does not have the ability to monitor and de-fuel if necessary like the Banks and Edge does. You do have the ability to read and clear trouble codes which the above mentioned products do not.

I use it stacked with my TST powermax box and it works great. Just the superchips alone smokes more than my TST box alone, and the EGT's are also a little higher. But together it smokes like a train and can run circles around any Ricer on the street. If you go with Superchips I would highly recommend an EGT gauge. (That is true with any programmer or box to tell you the truth) The main reason I when with them is I got it cheap of Ebay and I could raise my speed limiter. But all things said I do like it just wish it had live data feed like the predator
