Looking for ideas on an older Mecedes car?

What older Mecedes are you doing?

Its actually my car. He and i went up to South Dakota yesturday and hauled it back on a flat bed.

It is a 1982 mercedes 300d, has the 5 cylinder turbo diesel in it. I am looking for some performance mods for it. I was thinking a propane system for a car :D or something in that line. On ebay i found a intake system for it but havnt found anything else besides that. I doubt they make a chip or a tuner for it but i may be wrong. I bought it for a everyday driver to save the miles on my truck and get a little better fuel milleage. Besides i couldnt pass it up for the price i payed. Any help would be great. :)

Not much. No chips, its mechanical injection........

Take off the muffler, look into lp, maybe some bigger injectors and a bigger turbo........

I highly recommend propane. Probably the easiest mod to make. Let me know if you want more info.
