my odometer/trip odometer does not lite up along with the cruse control light. they have been dimming out for the last couple of days but now they just don't come back on at all. i think everything else works fine: the wait to start, tac, speedo, blinkers etc. does not affect the way the truck runs. and the cruse does work the light just does not come on.

any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it

how many miles on your truck? you might want to check the wiring connections behind it but it would help if it weren't working when you did the troubleshooting just in case there is something loose or damaged. if its still under warranty I'd take it in..
