Hey guys this is a question for the fellas that live in California Me and the wife are gonna be driving to Ca to visit her mom with is my in-law-:tfor 2 weeks for christmas is their any chance i will get smogged checked by a CHP even though i have Maryland tags. My truck smokes at idle and really roll coal on hard accelleration but clears up too a slight haze too you guys knowledge will i get a ticket although i dont live there

No problem. I spoke to them (CARB) and it is for in state trucks. However, if you smoke too much, perhaps you have a problem. Perhaps injectors? You might want to clean the MAF sensor since thats what caused my smoke issues. I mean, you don't want to stand out. Even a truck with a tune doesn't have to smoke to have power. They are not just going to pull you over especially since you are out of state and your emissions are legal.
