I will never buy a new gm car or truck again. i had high hopes for buying a new camaro very soon but screw that. Im tired of my truck not getting fixed. and i took it in this week to get a new carrier bearing and u joints. the truck had been vibrating like hell for the last month and the first time i took it in they said it was my old tires. so i went out and spent a grand on 6 new toyo's. take it in this week to only get one u joint replaced. my damn carrier bearing is still making noise and its still clunking like a bitch when i get back into the throttle after coasting. and on top of all that the damn exhuast leak that i have been trying to get them to fix for over year is no longer coverd under warranty so they thought they would sneek in a damn charge for looking at it.

Chevy can go to hell and take there worthless warranty with them. i had even more problems trying to get my Cobalt SS serviced. they said that rear brakes lasting under 20k miles was normal wear! they dont ever want to fix shit. i hope they fail. I was raised on GM's and my dad still works for them but ill be damned if i have to go thru this bull shit any time these pile of shits break. they need to out source a few more suppliers so the whole damn thing will fall apart right when its out of warranty.

the whole damn reason i got the new cars was so i wouldnt have to fix them when they broke i work on cars all damn day the last thing i want to do is work on my shit that has to get me from point a to point b. I shoulda kept my rusty 88 chevy 1500. least that thing was cheap to buy parts for.

I had to rant sorry. hope you all have fun when your truck breaks. good luck getting it fixed right the first time.

Hahaha, I gotta laugh at the humor of someone who's entire city's tax base is based on GM being in business hoping they go under.:D

Sounds like your dealer sucks, which isn't uncommon in Det because so many people are captive audience.

There's a support group for that.

It's called...............Everybody.

They meet at the bar @ 5PM. See you there;).

You think getting the General to fix them is bad, try to buy (order) one.

My personal solution is in my Avatar.

Don't worry, Government Motors can only get better with Obama at the reins:rolleyes:.

And for when you have your next vibration problem (this means everyone reading this), have the tires roadforce balanced before doing any parts changing. The machine and process of Roadforce balancing will ABSOLUTELY tell if a tire (tires) is (are) the culprit. $13.95/per at a local GM dealer here.

Try a new dealer, at least you have a local dealer. Mine closed so I have next dealer is 25 miles ... not that far but with my work schedule I have since I work at nite and sleep during the day makes a trip to the dealer a real pain and involves my day off at the dealer for work to get done.
