Here are some pics of a few friends trucks pulling one of our boats that we used to sell. Both of these trucks were combined with the boat for photoshoots in magazines.

If anyone wants to chime in throw up some pics of their favorite, fun, heaviest load.

This was my first setup. I could fit into all kinds of mountain lakes camping spots. 18' 5th wheel that was really lighweight. The ZR2 pulled it pretty easily.

I have not towed anything with my LBZ, I do most of my towing with the f-350. I had to drive to Tallahassee to pick up this f-350 that had a busted tranny cooler line.

This thread is old as hell, but is that TH lifted at all to accommodate the truck's lift?

I got these picts as an email a few years ago and almost dropped to the floor. I especialy love the chain with the S hooks to help with the load along with the 4x4 whittled down to fit in the hitch.

any thoughts on a F450SD towing a 4 car wedge. does it have the power or will I be mashing the throttle

For towing the 4 car wedge what is the best between the three; Ford F450SD, Dodge Ram 3500HD or Chevy Silverado 3500

I have a friend who hauls excavating equipment every day. He had a 08 F-550, but couldn't keep it out of the shop. He now has an 03 3500 LB7 and loves it. He says the engines are about the same power wise, but the Ford handled the weight better as far as payload. He has added some airbags and says this has helped tremendously.

F450 is a great truck but weakest link is the engine. I'd wait and get one of the new GM 3500s, rated to tow 20k.

While engine's improved to the 6.7 for Ford is '11, if you want bigger than a one ton bear in mind the 2011 f450 pickup is just a glorified F350 unlike the current F450 PU which is genuine medium duty, aside from the engine. Maybe consider a chassis cab F450 or F550 w/6.7L, though the engines reliability is unproven.

little too much red for me but I love that kodiak!

Had built a 38' back in 02. Wanted it red b/c when you have visitors at the track, them the red one. To many white and black trailers. Then I got the truck, had to match the trailer. Then I met the woman of my dreams and she wanted to race. Not my car, but build her own, so we had to get a bigger trailer to haul both cars in. Had to match the truck,. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Yes I did, it's all in personal preference and it was safer and nicer to use the big ass ugly mirrors, trust me I'm not a fan but thats what I used. Truck is being sold anyway, its been replaced.
