My engine temp will not get over 172 degrees on my edge monitor while driving normal with an outside temp of 70-80 degrees. The hottest I could get it today was 178 after getting on it hard entering the highway, then dropped right back to 170-172. The temp usually runs between 182-192 while driving normal and I always pay attention to it. All these temps are from the edge monitor, and the dash gauge would run at the 185 mark when the edge says 170-172. Could this be a stuck thermostat or bad ECT sensor?

it could be the edge...had a similar problem....un plug and replug and if still the same call edge and see what they say...you may have to send it in and have them look it over and or have some updates or maintenance work done to it

I would definatly have someone with a scanner verify that.

That i don't know, I always just look at the edge. The dash gauge has always been off though, especially when towing. The dash reads about 10-20 lower after 210.
