Can you set the DSP2 with 1 side set up with the stock tune and the 2nd side with a small hp tune

Yes not a problem. Normally you start off with your most powerful tune then each one whether DSP2 or DSP5 is a little less power. The second tune is not a completely independent tune it is made up of a few dozen different tables the rest of the tune uses the rest of the tables from the base tune. No where enough room to hold to seperate tunes in an ECM.

The reason i ask is iwould like to run a small tone but also have the ability to go bad to factory if i have to take it in for warrenty work. ( i have an after market warranty)

If you go back into for repair I would do a full flash back of stock tune.

As in going back in with efi live and resetting it all
