: My SC level IV install
lakingslayer 05-28-2005, 09:45 PM I went to Inglewood transmissions and had Mike L. install my Suncoast level IV along with a tranny/transfercase brace, PML deep pan, and ITS transmission cooler. I've attached some pics. Sorry some are a little blury. I took them with my phone. Was a lot of fun and I learned a lot but I know I also have a lot more to learn. I also got to see the new TTS lift pump system on Mike's truck. They look great. It was a pleasure to meet Mike and the other members who showed up. Thanks Mike.

Mike.....I thought you used tranny fluid! :rotflmao: If you used "moose" wouldn't the antlers get in the way? ):h
Congrats Lakinslayer!.......Nice to see "Gordie" finally got it's new tranny and cooler! :ro)
Tom :pig:
lakingslayer 05-29-2005, 01:32 PM Sorry about the blury pic of Mike. It was the only one I got. At least Mike's hair stays in place. I need a hat to keep mine out of my face. :( "Gordie" is loving the upgrades so far. I've been playing with the different levels of the Predator and Edge. It's nice to not have to worry about limping the ally anymore.
jmg343 06-01-2005, 06:17 PM Im went in today and got an estimate on a suncoast IV complete kit, with the suncoast converter and the transgo shift kit. The guy is gonna call me later today with his numbers. He's including fluid, labor, everything. What should I expect, can someone throw out a high and a low? Im expecting somewhere in the high 4,000 to low 5,000 range...am I close? I dont wanna get ripped.

I wouldn't pay more than about $4500 for the install. If it costs more than that call Mike L. and plan on a trip to SouthernCal.

You should be able to get a SC level III for under 4K and maybe even an ATS stage III for around the same $$.
