I accidentally removed the all the needles (oil, temp, battery, fuel, speedometer ...) on my truck dashboard. After putting it back, how do I recalibrate the needles to make sure that they are correctly?

The nerve of some people.......;)

The best way to set the needles on that rig is live. Key on, everything but Volt will be zero. The Volt meter will be at battery standy by voltage. The many write ups on here are for the '03 and newer which do a sweep at startup, which yours will not do.

That was what I figured out. But I just want to make sure that I did it correctly as it is very important that oil pressure, and the temp needles must be accurate and precisely. Are these four little needles the same? I have noticed that when the ignition is on, two of the needles are rolled back when I tried to move it clockwise. But the other two just kept rolling around.
