i recently bought a 5" turbo back mbrp kit and the front pipe is only 4"...it looks like there might be some clearance issues with true 5"...wondering if mbrp or anyone makes a true 5" turbo back kit, or if u can buy just that 5" front pipe?

watching i was thinking of asking the same question..i think to tell you the truth the whole 5" thing is more of a looks/sound thing tho ive read up here anyway the 4" vs 5" isnt any difference in performance but i would like to know if there is a full 5" system excluding the turbo direct pipe.. and sorry not to hijack this thread but anyone know of a 4" turbo direct pipe on top of it?

Clearance is an issue. I dont know of anyone making a 5" front-pipe.

i know if they wanted to they could, the only thing that would need to be modified/removed would be the hanger on the side of the trans.

ALL 5" full systems use a 4" front-pipe.
Also, a 4" turbo direct pipe will not fit.

when I was running a big s400 single, i had an ATS 4" downpipe. It barely fits, we actually had to dent it to fit around the upipe. So there is No way a 5" pipe will fit unless you smach the hell out of it.
