I want to piece together an exhaust system for my truck and i know that i want a straight piped (no cat no muffler) 4 inch dual system, but my question is what are the other best bang for the buck components i should add to my exhaust system ( i.e Downpipe, manifold...etc). I am also planning on having my blocker plate installed with the exhaust system. I dont have a huge budget either so full blown headers and up pipes are out of the question.

You pretty much limited yourself to a Diamondeye down pipe. It will help a lot and eliminate a lot of turbulence.

Are the up-pipes from rick d'lance for around 500 dollars worth it? I really want to try and make the truck as efficent as possible getting air in and out so i'm working on the air out right now.

Most definitely. I'm mad I didn't get them sooner. Plus you're one step closer to deleting your EGR. Helped spool time significantly.

I do not have EFI so i can not fully delete my EGR but i would like to get my blocker plate in asap for sure. The manifold i am reading is not really worth it until i am making significantly more power.
