Yes it can. Anything that writes to the ECM is trackable.

Yes it will void.
And don`t believe Hypertech for one minute on the claim that no EGT gauge is needed with the Hypertech programmer.
Our tuner is safe,
There was a thread sometime ago with several using the Hypertech with no gauges as suggested by Hypertech, towing and overheating on levels 2 & 3.
Level 1 appeared to be ok.
You really should have gauges especially when adding any power programmer.
I installed my mech gauge 1 month after I bought the truck and was stock.

The Warranty Rep at the Dealership that I bought my 08 GMC told me that I could run a K/N intake, Manaflow Filter back 5" and a HyperTech Max energy programer. I sat in his office and we read the warranty over together. Now, I have the Extended Plan. He said that I had the best plan GM offers. I don't know what the regular plan says. Hope this helps

"The best GM offers" sounds like a salesmen to me

What do you mean? The extended plan is still covered by GM but covers everything from bumper to bumper (less Maintenance issues) for five years 100K. If they don't offer a better one, wouldn't that make this one the "Best"? Or do you have better information than I do?
