I have a 2008 GMC 2500 Duramax w/leather heated seats. The driver seat stopped working, and I was conned by the General Motors. I understand that it is yes, out of warranty (I drive back and forth between Montana & Kansas), but the GM rep I spoke with on the phone, led me to believe that if I would take it to my dealer, let them diagnose the problem, GM most likely would aid in resolving the issue. I made it clear that if they didn't, I probably would NOT spend the $$ to have it repaired myself. After reassurance from the GM Rep, I agreed to take it to the dealer for diagnosis. Once diagnosed, a different GM Rep contacted me and stated they will not help.

So in my opinion, I was conned by GM to spend $$ at the dealership, when the knew all along they wouldn't do anything.

Anyone have something similar happen?
