AAM says they make them. Nobody sells them. AAM does not return their emails.

Where would I start?

Seeing how the sheepherders locker works in our trucks see if one of their dealers has a listing for them.

Do the Dodges have 10.5" or 11.5"? If they have 11.5" it should work.

They have the same axle we have, slight difference in tubes, Brandon put in a dodge posi unit, ordered it from a dodge dealer so ring gear is same size.

I can't get on dodge site at work to see if u can order 3.54 ratio in their trucks.

BTW WHY do u need higher gears?

150 mph ain't fast enough for u :muahaha:

Or u going after the landspeed record?

3.54 in a 2wd would be just about right. Even a bit higher (3.42?) would probably be good. It should help get better mpg as well.

I am of the belief that if you can go through the 1/4mi lights in 4th gear instead of 5th, you will go quicker. Perfect gears would be 3.3x'ish.

Custom rear in order? Chevrolet used to have 3:31 ratio... Back in the late 60's

Would sure be nice to just drop in a set of gears though.

Let us know what you decide... Or is it :secret: ?

Nothing I do is "secret" except beta testing. I'll write down on here everything I do to "Casper" (wifey christened it) to get it to perform. Tires are here, rims coming tues, lower kit on the way, anti-sway's coming. Once I get it lowered and sorted, I'll do the exhaust, add HP, and start testing it's launch capability, and cornering ability.

Got a LOT of stuff to do. Finding parts is half the struggle. For some odd reason, nobody is making a lot of roadracing goodies for 6000lb tow vehicles. Can't understand why! ;)

That is great McRat. That is what I like about you. If everyone felt the same way you did we would be a lot farther ahead. Thanks for sharing with us.
