Half the lip fell of both sides the last time I rotated my tires so I just slipped the broken pieces between the rim and axle. dwrat 10-21-2009, 01:06 AM How old are they? I notice mine were just starting to rust so I sprayed them with LPS3 last time the wheels were off. Harbourone 10-26-2009, 05:06 PM Just put a magnet on it. That'll tell you if its aluminum. I just got my 2" spacers today and I guarantee they are steel. At 18 lbs per spacer, that would be some HEAVY aluminum! I'am a little disappointed he said he makes them out of steel and they will be fine. So I'll have to by a new set. Don't really won't to buy a new set but I guess I have to. I thought he would stand behind them a little better than that at least reduce the price for new ones, but he said $320. rota92 10-27-2009, 08:13 PM That is a bid odd, but being from the NE I can see why he may have had reservations in sending new stuff right out to you. I've been thinking about painting mine before I put them on next week even to stop the steel from getting corroded over time. Harbourone 10-28-2009, 08:33 AM I just gave mine a good coat of anti seize and grease and im confident it will stand up to a harsh canadian winter load of salt. Good product.
