Scarab34 10-19-2009, 10:19 PM I accidentally started my 01 dmax with maf sensor unplugged. I know what an idiot. My problem is I have had to have the light cleared 5 times since then. About every other day or so. Everytime it says air intake heater circuit A open. Does anyone know exactly what that means. I have checked the connection and everything seems fine. Today I used maf cleaner and sprayed it down to see what happens. Anyone have any ideas. rma153 10-20-2009, 08:45 AM air intake heater circuit A open is a different code than MAF. Check the sensor wires to the air intake heater. If you are getting a glow plug code also then it is probably the 175a megafuse, but this fuse is hard to blow unless a short caused it.
