I run Toyo's on my truck and I like them alot. Nice traction and they are quite at highway speeds. All around a very good tire. They have received very good ratings in all the tests I have seen them in.. Good luck

I've run Kelly Springfield MSR's (several sets) and Cooper Discoverer's. The MSRs were too soft but gave great traction on ice and did well in snow. Coopers did OK on ice, so-so in snow and were less expensive and wore a bit longer. But now I'm on my first set of Toyo Open Country A/Ts and boy do I like 'em. Very good on ice and do well in snow. That usually indicates a soft compound tire. These, however wear much better than that. I'm coming into the 60k mile range with this set and I already have my second set waiting; mounted on my spare H2's. They are very quiet on the highway, and really hold up on the scorria(sp) (sharp rock-covered) dirt roads around here. They have been the best all round tire I've ever run. Period. I've seen a lot of claims that Nittos are the same tire. I can't say for sure as I don't know of any Nitto dealers nearby to validate that claim. But if so, check into them as well. Well, there's my $.02.
