Assuming all is well with all aspects of my fuel system, if I work the primer on top of the filter until it becomes firm, and then walk off and leave it, without starting the engine, come back in 24 hours or so and try priming again, should I expect it to still be firm? Or should it be easy to press again? Remember, it is assumed that there are no problems in the system.
