I trashed a trailblazer yesterday when it ran into my truck, the front end of that trailblazer was not pretty.

Bent and dinged the my rear bumper.

Anyways while waiting on the settlement, I am curious what a new GM rear bumper costs? thinking of using that money for an aftermarket ranch hand bumper.

Got any ideas?

Tell them you want to settle quickly and will take that money that it will cost to buy a Ranch Hand.. They will gladly pay, or you can hold out and get all the money and do what you wish with it... Depends on your conscience..

If you want to go back with a stocker (perfect shape), I have mine from when I put on an aftermarket one. That is assuming an '02 would fit?

Since you are local to me, wouldn't have to worry about shipping.

BMCD, I did not consider the accident itself, was thinking more along the lines of your truck. Like ShumDit said, I would have your neck checked out by a local Chiro if you can. Talk to the insurance company about this and tell them you need it. They will understand. Let me know if you need help locating one as I am in the Houston area and can help in those regards. I am a Chiro so I can speak from experience, I have seen some patients that were in 5 mph accidents with major damage, headaches, etc.. It can get worse if untreated... Let me know if you need my help...Good luck

I did have a moment seconds after she hit me were i thought i should jump out and scream! "My Liver! My Liver!" Just did not want to get my work clothes dirty.

Best price i found on the ranch hand was $440 for the 8inch drop. Anyone got a better price?

B&H Customs in Austin was under $400 last year when I priced them.

Apparently Ranch Hand won't sell you an 8inch drop for a HD truck. So i got a cowboy 10inch drop for $430 w/o lights.

We shall see. Pick it up tommorrow.

Yeah, that is about the price they quoted me. Where did you get it? An outlet?

They have two different styles, the pipe style and the summit style. The pipe styles are a lot heavier, I believe.
