Do i need to take off the direct pipe heat shield? V clamp is a B*****

Take off the heat shield on the turbo 3 bolts (10mm). That will give you easy access to the band clamp on the turbo. Yes you can bend the shield to get it off and on. Take the inner fender guard out also and tube will slide right in
