I'm on my 3rd fuse for the OEM horn. Is there a problem with the horns going bad and drawing too much current for the 15A fuse to handle? Thanks.

Horns get moisture in them and start shorting out. You may have one not working, there is one on either side of the truck, pretty common problem.

Thanks for the help...............again. Can I just get a set of aftermarket horns and replace the OEM? Probably a much cheaper option. Many thanks.

Not sure on the mounting hardware of the aftermarket stuff. Cant recall how much GM horns are either.

Should they be OK otherwise?

My horn isn't working also. Where is the fuse located that I need to change? I hope it's just a blown fuse.

Would help to know what you are driving?

I suggest listing your vehicle in your sig section.

Been out of town; thanks for the reply. I haven't priced any horns yet, nor taken them of the truck. They're both working, but the fuse will blow if I lay on the button. I will attempt to see if one or both draw excessive current. Thanks again.
