I knew I'd smoke a half ton chevy happens all the time. But I thought for sure some thing sporty like a new Acura RSX would roast my 10 year old diesel with 200K miles. Only went up to 55MPH (didn't want to go to crazy on the street), and I didn't have to by 55 I had 4 car lenght's on him and pulling away fast. Three lanes and I'm in the middle, both of them squeeled tires on the launch, but that didn't help them much. They both got facefuls of good ol' diesel exhaust. Everytime I drive my truck I am amazed that the 6.5 had such a bad rap with the main stream. Long live the 6.5, I will own more.

Man, I love stories like that. Even though I like to be conservative in my treatment of the engine, I always love the happly ever afters . . .

I acted like a kid myself over the weekend. Went through a nice deep roadside puddle for the big roaster tale for the kids. . . had to turn around and good back home again to put the "catyltic" converter decoy back on again. . . stupid muffler clamps . . . sounded like a big rig for a whole 5 minutes.
