I have been experiencing an intermittent problem where the battery symbol will illuminate in the DIC and the odometer and PRNDL display goes black. The battery voltage according to the meter was 14V when this happened today. I took it into the dealership a while back but of course it would not cooperate and the problem could not be reproduced.


Any ideas?????

Just wondering if you have a bad battery. I;ve seen headlights and tailights glow on Impala's when the vehicle was shut off and switches off. Turned out to be bad battery. One of them was less than 2 weeks old.


Also had a problem on the wife;'es Blazer. Trip meter was always resetting itself. Replaced the battery, no more problems.
